What is ARTHRITIS?

Arthritis simply means inflammation in the joints. Joint inflammation causes pain, swelling, warmth and stiffness over time. These symptoms may be common with all form of arthritis.

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease, resulting in loss of elasticity of the joint cartilage which functions as shock-absorbers between two joints. Over time, as the cartilage wears off, bone friction increases causing pain. Though OA may affect any joint, the knees, hips and spine are commonly affected due to repeated wear and tear.

Obesity, Injury, joint overuse and hereditary factors are commonly responsible for OA.

Rheumatoid arthritis is also a chronic form of arthritis, the cause of which is unknown. It usually manifests bilaterally, affecting joints on both sides of the body. Rarely, RA may occasionally affect the skin, eyes, lungs, heart, blood, nerves or kidneys. The disease onset, progression and duration vary considerably among those affected.

The cause of RA is unknown. Genetic, environmental, hormonal, immunologic, and infectious factors may play significant roles. Genetic factors account for 50% of the risk for developing RA

How well HOMEOPATHY works in ARTHRITIS?

Whether you suffer from Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis or any other form of joint, tendon or ligament affection, homeopathy is a valuable alternative therapy and can be taken indefinitely without any side effects.

Most individuals opting for Homeopathy experience improvement in joint mobility, reduction in pain/stiffness and a significant reduction in the frequency of relapses. Early stages of joint inflammation can be cured if timely treatment is initiated. Homeopathic medicines may be taken alone or along with your regular prescription. Over time the need for pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs do subside and the overall condition of the joint and cartilage can be improved.

What is CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS?

Cervical Spondylosis is a degenerative condition of the cervical (neck) spine and associated intervetebral disc separating the vertebrae. Nerve compression, degeneration of the intervetebral discs and loss of normalcy of the spine curvature may lead to pain and stiffness of the shoulder muscles, loss of muscle strength and a constant discomfort or stiffness in the back and neck muscles.

With age, osteophytes or bone buildup protrude from the margin of the vertebrae due to mechanical pressure between the two vertebrae causing further pressure on the involved nerves.

Symptoms of Cervical Spondylosis include : Intermittent neck and shoulder stiffness and/or pain, Symptoms may be unilateral or bilateral, dependant on the nerve involved, Headaches originating at the nape of the neck (sub-occipital), Pain and tingling sensation radiating down the arms, Severe nerve compression causes weakness and loss of arm muscle strength, Atypically pain may radiate to the chest, cause difficulty in swallowing or loss of control.

How well HOMEOPATHY works in CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS?

Homeopathy helps a great deal in cervical spondylosis and has following benefits : Relief in pressure and inflammation of the affected nerve, disappearance in pain and tingling sensation radiating down the arm, relief in headaches and stiffness of associated shoulder muscles, improvement in the ability to function as normally as possible, provide essential minerals required for disc, nerve and bone health.
